5/9/15. Cheyenne, WY – Homosexuals and Lesbians AND their liberal supporters have a strategy designed to transform the United States’ perception of homosexuality and those who oppose homosexual/lesbian behavior. You can read about it in “The Homosexual Agenda: Exposing the Principal Threat to Religious Freedom Today,” by Alan Sears and Craig Osten.
Those who have paid attention to current events during the last fifteen to twenty years, understand the gains made by the homosexual activist movement during that time. Not so long ago, homosexuality was considered a vice. Now, even those who are uncomfortable with it, if pressed, will dodge, twist and answer, somewhat self-consciously, this way: “Not that there is anything wrong with it.”
(That last line was a quote from an episode of the TV show, Seinfeld – I knew there was a reason I did not like that show when it was on the air a few years ago, and now in re-runs). And those who understand that there IS something wrong with it are now considered to have the vice of intolerance.
What has caused this radical shift in public attitude toward homosexual behavior? And how did this shift happen in less than a generation? Simple. A well-thought out strategy has been implemented in our culture. Devised in part by homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, who wrote and published it in two sources: 1) a 1987 article, “The Overhauling of Straight America,” and 2) a 1989 book, “After the Ball.”
Yes! You read that correctly. 1989. That’s how long ago this strategy was devised and began to be implemented. And it has been done right under the noses of our ministers, priests, and rabbis, who apparently had too many other things to do to notice what was happening.
Until around 1993, when Focus on the Family, under the guidance of the brilliant and very capable Dr. James Dobson, began the first opposition movement. That was followed by the Family Research Council, led by Tony Perkins at the time, and other groups.
Recently, a Homosexual/Lesbian group, apparently believing that its attacks have sufficiently undermined the faith community, has had the gall to demand that Christian churches in the state of Wyoming be shut down. Why? For opposing same-sex marriage.
Look for more from me, later, as I continue my own little war against the homosexual/lesbian movement and the secular humanists and atheists who back it.
